Patna, November 26, 2009:Shikshayatan Public School and Donny Polo School got the tickets for last 16 stage of the 25th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Thursday.
Shikshayatan Public School beat DAV Public School by 31 runs while Donny Polo School thrashed Awasiya Bal Niketan, Bihta, by 119 runs.
Arnav Kumar (Shikshayatan) and Sidhant Vijay (Donny Polo) got the man of the match awards.
Brief scores: Shikshayatan Public School: 108 for eight wickets in 25 overs (Alind Singh-39, Vikas Raj-22, Pratyush-11, Vishwajit-2/17, Harshvardhan-2/7).
DAV Public School: 77 all out in 15.5 overs (Vipul-17, Anirudh-3/14, Anurag-2/11, Sachin-2/21).
Donny Polo Public School: 170 for five wickets in 25 overs (Sidhant Vijay-70, Shasheem Rathore-48, Nitesh Anand-28, Vivek-2/17, Punit-2/30).
Awasiya Bal Shiksha Niketan, Bihta: 51 all out in 19.1 overs (Ashutosh-12, Vivek-4/9, Kundan Sharma-2/6).
