Patna, November 19, 2009;Donny Polo School and DAV Public School, Board Colony booked their berths in the second round of the 25th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Thursday.
Doni Polo School posted seven-wicket victory over MG Inter School (Uttar Pradesh) while DAV Public School, Board Colony crushed Christ Church School by 72 runs.
Batting first MG Inter School made 75 all out. In reply, Donny Polo School boys successfully chased the target losing three wickets on the way.
In the second match, DAV School gathered 133 for 7 wickets while Christ Church School boys could score 61 all out.
Rajnish Gaurav of Donny Polo and Vishwajeet of DAV were adjudged man of the match for their respective matches. Organising secretary Vijay Kumar Narain Chunnu gave away the awards.

MG Inter School: 75 all out (Irfan Hasmi 26, Sujit Kumar Singh 12, Rajnish Gaurav 5 for 13, Anand Priya 2 for 7).
Donny Polo School: 77 for 3 (Sidhnat Vihay 12, Sasim Rathore 31, Vibhakar Arya 22, Sandeep Kumar Singh 2 for 21).
DAV School: 133 for 7 (Vipul Nishant 22, Harshvardhan 21 not out, Sachin 16, Subham 3 for 15, Aftab 2 for 21).
Christ Church School: 61 all out (Mudassar Iqbal 13, Sajid Haque 10, Vishwajeet 4 for 16, Nishesh 2 for 13).
