KOLKATA, November 5: India’s only individual medal hope Maisnam Chinglensana Luwang failed to win any in the men’s compound bow event of the 3rd Asian Indoor Games archery competition at the Haiphong Youth Gymnasiam in Hanoi (Vietnam) on Thursday.
The Manipur-born armyman lost to ultimate gold medal winner Reza Zamaninejad of Iran 111-117 in the semifinals and in the bronze medal play-off he was beaten by another Iranian Mansour Kordi 110-112. India can still win archery medals on Friday when the team championship will be gone through.
