Patna, November 5, 2009:
Junior National women’s boxing championships will be held at the Moinul Haq Stadium here from November 10, according to Boxing Association of Bihar (BAB) secretary Rajiv Kumar Singh.
Organising president, Dinesh Singh said the star attraction of the championship would be World champion MC Merry Kom. He said about 600 women boxers and officials would take part in the five-day tournament. He said four international standard boxing rings had arrived here for the tournament. Surya Clinic would be the main sponsor of the tournament, he added.
