Patna, November 2, 2009: Raj Inter High School, Dumraon earned the quarterfinal berthin the second Rock inter-school football tournament hammering Sri Ganesh Adarsh Sanskrit High School, Bakhtiyarpur 7-0 in the last pre-quarterfinal match at the at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Monday.
Winners took a commanding 4-0 lead at the end of first half’s play.
In a one-sided match, all the strikers of Dumraon School were on goal scoring spree. They struck goals at their will as their rivals looked like a hapless lot in all department of the game. Ajay Kumar Sharma (three goals, 4th, 25th and 50th minutes), Ramesh Kumar Yadav (two goals, 27th and 52nd minutes), Ajay (one goal, 8th minute) and Shashi Kumar Singh (one goal, 55th minute) found the target for Dumaraon team.
The championship is being organised by Association for People’s Welfare and Development (APWAD).
