Ajay Kumar’s fine hat-trick helped Buxar decimate Muzaffarpur 4-1 in the 61st Bihar State football championships for Moinul Haq Trophy in Purnia on Thursday.
According to information reached here, in another match Motihari crushed Nalanda 5-1.
Manoj Kumar scored the fourth goal for Buxar. Raman Kumar of Muzaffarpur hit the lone goal for his team. Ajay Kumar was named man of the match.
Suman Gautam of Motihari struck two goals while Arun Choudhary, Md Rashid and Raushar scored one goal each. Prabhakar of Nalanda reduced the margin. Raushan of Motihari got the man of the match award.
