Payal Kumari of Madhepura and Varsha Bhagyashree of Patna won the sub-junior and cadet girls’ singles crowns in the Professor BP Roymemorial 58th Bihar state and inter-district table tennis tournament at Bihar Young Man’s Institute hall here on Monday.
Payal prevailed Asmita Ravi of Patna 11-6, 11-5, 11-4 and Varsha got the better of Rianshi Kumari of Madhepura 11-3, 11-4, 11-4. Ahana Pal of Darbhanga looked all set to claim three titles as she moved into the finals of youth, women and women doubles events.
