Patna, November 6, 2009:Raj Inter High School, Dumraon stormed into the semifinals of the Rock inter-school football tournament trouncing defending champions Sri Ganesh High School, Bakhtiyarpur 6-0 at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Friday.
Winners took a commanding lead two goals at the end of the first half.
Dominating the show from the very start of the game, Dumraon boys opened the scoring through Ajay Kumar Sharma in the 15th minute. Ten minutes later, Ramesh Kumar Yadav hit the second goal.
In the second half, Dumraon boys played a flawless soccer and attacked the rival territory umpteen times. On the way, they scored four more goals to take the final tally to 6-0. Bhola Sah and Ajay Kumar Sharma struck two goals each. The tournament is being organised by APWAD.
