Patna, November 22, 2009:
Saurav Anand of Purnia claimed the Bihar State U-7 chess title bagging three points in as many rounds at the end of final round play at RBI Recreation Club hall here. Usha Arya of Patna won the girls’ title with five points.
Tushar Sinha of Patna with 2 points and Harsh Raj (Patna) with one point finished second and third respectively.
In girls’ section, Manya Diptam (Patna) with 3 points and Janhavi (Patna) with 3 points earned second and third spots respectively.
Sanjeev Kumar, joint secretary, All Bihar Chess Association gave away the prizes.
