Muzaffarpur pipped Banka 1-0 in the 61st Bihar State and inter-district football championships for Moinul Haq Trophy here in Purnia on Tuesday.
According to information reached here, in another match of the day, Nalanda earned full points by virtue of a walkover against East Central Railway Sonepur division.
Anuj Kumar of Muzaffarpur scored the lone goal of the match in the 76th minute. Ashwani Chandan of Muzaffarpur was named man of the match.
