Patna, November 15, 2009: Amiya Kumar Mallick of Orissa Zone raced to glory in 100-m sprin to claim the gold medal in All India Mahatma Hansraj Aryan tournament at the Mithilesh Stadium here on Sunday.
Prem Sagar and Brij Mohan Singh (both Patna Zone) won the silver and bronze medals respectively. Amiya Kumar Mallick also won the 200-m sprint gold medal. Basant Kumar and Satya Prakash (both Ranchi Zone) bagged the second and third positions respectively.
Regional Director Dr R K Chauhan and the Principal-cum-zonal convenor Dr A C Jain distributed the prizes.
