Patna, November 24, 2009:Ashwani Public School, Danapur, got the ticket for round of last sixteen in the 25th All- India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament trouncing Mother Teresa Montessori School by seven wickets at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Tuesday.
In the second match, St Paul School, Begusarai, crushed Deo Public School, Saharsa by six wickets.
Himanshu Hari (Ashwani School ) and Rahul Kumar (St Paul’s School) were named man of the match.
Brief scores: Mother Teresa Montessori School: 86 all out in 23.4 overs (Aryan-29, Sachin-11, Himanshu Hari-4/14, Ramesh-3/17).
Ashwani Public School: 89 for three wickets in 17.1 overs (Pravi Ranjan-30, Himanshu Hari-21 not out, Raj Krishan-17 not out, Vishal-2/16).
Deo Public School: 117 for nine wickets in 25 overs (Abhimanyu Pandey-29, Rakesh-17, abhinav-15, Rahul-2/15).
St Paul School: 118 for four wickets in 22.1 overs (Rahul-41 not out, Manish-41).Badminton meet.
