Sasaram and Bihta schools post victories

Patna, November 18, 2009:
Indian Public School, Sasaram and Residential Bal Kshiksha Niketan, Bihta won their respective matches to enter the second round of the 25th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Wednesday.

Indian Public School chalked out 14-run win over St Joseph’s High School, Patna while Residential Bal Kshiksha Niketan, Bihta, outplayed Jeans Paul Senior Secondary School, Ara, by 43 runs.

Rahul Kumar of Sasaram and Saurav Kumar of Bihta were adjudged man of the match.

Brief scores: Indian Public School: 121 all out in 24.3 overs (Rahul Kumar-26,sunil-21, Akash-10, Aniket-13, Nishant-2/21, Rajeev Roshan-2/21).
St Joseph’s High School: 107 for five wickets in 25 overs (ShivamRaj-47, Rajeev Roshan-14, Animesh-1/21, Vikash-1/19).
Residential Bal Kshiksha Niketan: 151 all out in 23.4 overs (SauravKumar-78, Bunty Gupta-27, Hirdyanand Singh-2/27, Govind Shankar-2/20).
Jeans Paul Senior Secondary School: 108 all out in 21.1 overs (ChandanKumar-40, Govind Shankar-19, Vikash Kumar-12, Saurav Kumar-3/13,Puneet Kishore-1/15).
