Siddarth Senior Secondary School, Deoria advance into second round

Patna, November 22, 2009: Siddarth Senior Secondary School, Deoria outplayed RUH Larsa School, Jehanabad by 37 runs to enter the second round of the 25th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.

Mother Teresa School, Patna crushed St Dominic’s School, Patna, by 58 runs to occupy a place in the second round. Rahul Singh of Deoria and Aryan of Mother Teresa School were adjudged man of the match for their respective matches. Batting first Siddarth Senior Secondary School made 118 all out and then restricted their rivals for paltry 71 runs.

Larsa Jehanabad: 71 all out (Ravishankar 25, Sharvetankan 3 for 16, Amit Singh 2 for 11, Shan Habib 2 for 12, Rahul Singh 2 for 18).

Mother Teresa School: 119 for 8 (Suman 21, Sachin 15, Wasim 2 for 28, Rishav 2 for 23, Anupam 2 for 22).

St Dominic’s School: 61 all out (Kumar Abhishek 18, Aryan 5 for 10, Suraj 3 for 5).
