Combined United Africa earned a lone goal victory over Junior Army XI, Lucknow to clinch the first Unity Cup All-India football tournament title at Jalkaoura (Kahgaria) on Sunday.
In an exciting battle for supremacy, both the teams dished out quality football to give glimpses of class play for strong rural crowd who had thronged the stadium braving the bone chilling cold.
After a barren first half, Esimi netted the mach winner for the African team in the 65th minute of the game. Junior Army XI boys tried hard for the equalizer but in vain.
