Purnia lad Saurav Anand claimed the Bihar Under-7 chess championships crown collecting four points in as many rounds at the end of final day’s play at the RBI Recreation Club Hall here on Saturday.
Kritika Chowdhary of Muzaffarpur won the girls title with four points to her credit.
All Bihar Chess Association’s secretary Arvind Kumar Sinha gave away the prizes.

1. Saurav Anand (4); 2. Nayan Kumar (3); Mrigyansu (2), Shivans Sengar (2); Kumar Harshvardhan (2); Sachin Kumar (2); Saurav Siddarth (1.5); Kumar Sambhav (1) and Tushar Sinha (0.5).
