It is an all-Patna affair in the 24th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament final as Dev Public School, Patna beat Holy Mission School, Samastipur by 29 runs in the second semi-finals at the DAV Public School, BSEB Colony ground here on Friday. Now, Dev Public School will take on another Patna team Dony Polo Public School for the summit showdown to be held on December 9.
Rohit Gupta of Dev Public School, who claimed three wickets and made 20 runs, was adjudged man of the match.

Holy Mission School skipper, Santosh Kumar won the toss and asked Dev Public School to bat first with an aim of taking early morning advantage. His decision, somewhat, came on his way as Dev Public School boys could manage to score 154 for eight wickets in the allotted 30 overs. Rajeev Kumar was the top scored with 35 runs. Sudhir Kumar, Atmeswar Kumar and Santosh all took two wickets each.
The chase was not too tough as Holy Mission boys were needing 155 runs to win off 30 overs with an asking rate of just over five runs per over. But it turned too tough for them. The batting floundered and the bowlers of Dev Public School took firm control on the match with their accurate and probing attack. Manish Kumar played a defiant knock of 44 runs with three boundaries and one six but his team could muster 125 runs all out in 28.4 overs. Ravi Bharti and Nishant Kumar both took two wickets each.
