Patna, December 8
Shubham, Amit Kumar, Ayush Kumar and Akshay Kumar were among eight players who booked their berths in the cadet boys’ singles quarter-finals of the RI Singh memorial Bihar State table tennis championship which got off to a flying start at the Bihar Young Men’s Institute here on Sunday.
The former National table tennis player and MLC, Sanjay Singh inaugurated the tournament in a colourful function. Patna District Table Tennis Association secretary and organising secretary, Dilip Kumar Gandhi welcomed the guests. Bihar Table Tennis Association (BTTA) secretary Mukesh Roy proposed a vote of thanks. BTTA president Dr Utpal Kant Singh presided over the function.
