Sukhdeo cricket: Dev Public School in last four

Patna, December 2
Dev Public School, Patna got their appointed place in the semi-finals of the 24th All India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament outplaying Divine Public School, Gorakhpur by 44 runs at the DAV Public School, BSEB Colony ground here on Monday.

Kumar Aditya of Dev Public School, who claimed five wickets and scored 46 runs off 45 balls, was declared man of the match.

Dev Public School boys won the toss and decided to use the strip first. They made a modest149 runs in 30 overs. Kumar Aditya ‘s impressive knock of 46 contained six hits to the fence. Rohit Gupta (27). Rajiv (16) and Kailash (11) were the other useful contributors. Wazahat claimed three wickets.

Needing 150 runs for victory, Gorakhpur boys fumbled out for 105 runs off 26.4 overs. Amit (27) and Manvendra (24) showed some resistance against accurate Dev Public School attack spearheaded by. Kumar Aditya. He finished the day with five wickets for 18 runs.
