SIS Cup: Big win for St Karen's School


Patna, November 29
St Karen’s High School chalked out an impressive six-wicket win over Ashwani Public School in the inaugural match of the 10th Randhir Verma inter-school cricket tournament for the SIS Cup at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Saturday.

Mithilesh of St Karen’s School, who claimed four wickets for 12 runs, was declared man of the match.

In the second match, RN Academy struggled hard to beat Buxar High School, Buxar by 13 runs. Vivek of RN Academy, who took three wickets for 21 runs, was adjudged man of the match.

Earlier, Ravi Nandan Sahay and Anil Sulabh, who were the chief guests, inaugurated the tournament. Organising secretary Satish Kumar Raju welcomed the guests. Pradeep Jha, Tarun Mishra, Ashish Sinha and Ashutosh Kumar were also present at the inaugural function.

Dony Polo School in Super 30 semi-finals

Dony Polo Public School moved into the semi-finals of the Super 30 Challenge Cup inter-school cricket tournament defeating Sadbhavna Academy by 180 runs at the Patna College ground here on Saturday.

Deepak of Dony Polo School, who scored 51 (7x4) runs and claimed three wickets for six runs, was declared man of the match.
Batting first, Dony Polo boys made 283 runs in 29.1 overs and then restricted their rivals for 103 runs to post a big win.
