Gyan Bharati Public School, Ara chalked out a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Sunil Jwala Public School, Sasaram in a second round match of the 24th All-India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the DAV School (BSEB Colony) ground here on Sunday.
Kundan Kishore of the winning teams was adjudged man of the match.
Batting first Sasaram boys were all out for a meager 112 runs. Ara boys collected the required runs in 14.1 overs losing only four wickets.
Brief scores: Sunil Jwala Public School: 112 all out off 30 overs (Nikhil Kumar 28, Sonu Bhatt 16, Animesh Kumar 11, Radheshyam 12, Ankur 3 for 25, Rinkal 2 for 20).
Gyan Bharati Public School: 116 for 4 off 14.1 overs (Kundan Kishore 43, Ankit Raj 19, Radheshyam 2 for 22, Vivek 1 for 20, Narayan 1 for 23).
St Dominic and Dony Polo Schools win
St Dominic Savio School beat International School, Patliputra by four wickets in the Super 30 inter-school cricket tournament at the Patna College ground here on Sunday.
In the other match of the day, Dony Polo School beat Mother Teresa School by two wickets to enter the next round.
