BCA T20 cricket: Jamui too good for Nalanda

Jamui edged past Naland by 32 runs in the Patna leg of the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) Twenty20 cricket tournament at the Patna College ground here on Monday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Jamui made a modest 156 for 9 off 20 overs. Sandeep Sanyal’s 46 was the high light of Jamui innigs. Prince Kumar (34) and Om Prakash (20) were the other noteworthy contributors. Saurav, Ajay and Akhilesh all took two wickets apiece.

In reply, Nalanda boys crumbled to 124 for 9 at the end of stipulated 20 overs. Raju (27) and Neeraj (20) did the bulk of scoring. Amrendra virtually ran through the Nalanda innings capturing four wickets for 18 runs.

Siwan beat Darbhanga by six wickets
Darbhanga 70 all out off 18.2 overs (Mukhtar 15, Kaifi and Prabhat took three and two wickets respectively).
Siwan 72 for 4 off 10.4 overs (Manish Giri 26 not out, Virendra captured three wickets).

At Jehanabad:
Gaya beat Nawada by 10 wickets.
Nawada: 55 all out off 14.4 overs (Gautam 13, Vikas 12, Raju and Mangal grabbed four and two wickets respectively).
Gaya: 56 for no loss off 11.2 overs (Chhotu 31 not out, Mangal 17 not out).

At Samastipur:
Lakhisarai beat Munger by eight wickets.
Munger 103 all out off 18.5 overs (Rohit Raj 19, Vikas 15, Gautam and Kanzwaljeet got three and two wickets respectively).
Lakhisarai: 104 for two off 9.3 overs (Amit 70, Sudhanshu 11).

At Muzaffarpur:
Motihari beat Madhubani by 23 runs.
Motihari 92 for 7 off 20 overs (Intakhab 34, Ravi Ranjan, Naunit and Jatan took two wickets each).
Madhubani 69 all out off 15 overs (Naunit 25, Faider and Rahul bagged three wickets each).

At Aurangabad:
Kaimur beat Buxar by 14 runs.
Kaimur 121 for 8 off 20 overs (Ankit 27, Suraj and Farah Ansai grabbed four and two wickets respectively).
Buxar 107 all out off 19.2 overs (Pankaj 46, Rahul 25, Manish and Azad took two wickets each).

At Bhagalpur:

Begusarai beat Katihar by four wickets
Katihar: 98 all out off 19.4 overs (Arhun Yadav 24, Nilesh 20, Rajkumar and Sanoj took four and three wickets respectively).
Begusarai: 99 for six off 20 overs (Murari 26, Shravan 24, Rajkishore 21, Sanotsh and Sanjay got three and one wicket respectively).

At Saharsa:
Saharsa beat Supaul by four wickets
Supaul 106 all out off 20 overs (Prince 21, Patel 21, Udang 13 not out, Kaushik Raj claimed three wickets).
Saharsa 107 for six off 17.4 overs (Ajay Nayar 25, Nitosh 21, Kundan 20 not out, Prince and Rinku captured two wickets each.)
