Sukhdeo cricket: Vivek scripts Dony Polo win

Patna, November 14
Vivek rocked National Cambridge School, Barh with his six-wicket haul as his team Dony Polo Public School registered an impressive nine wickets win in a second round match of the 24th All India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the DAV Public School, BSEB Colony ground here on Thursday.

Vivek took 6 wickets for 14 runs. He was later adjudged man of the match.

Barh team won the toss and elected to bat first. Their decision proved wrong as ball was keeping low at one end of the wicket. Entire team was shot out for 81 runs off 22.2 overs.
In reply, DPPS lads hit up the required runs in 8.2 overs for the loss of one wicket.

Brief scores: National Cambridge School: 81 all out in 22.2 overs (Ajay Kumar-17, Avinash-19 not out, Vivek-6/14, Nilesh-2/21). DPPS: 85 for one wicket in 8.2 overs (Suman-20, Kislay-43 not out, Avinash 1 for 1).

Concept Academy in Last eight

Concept Academy moved into the quarter-final of the Super 30 Challenge Cup inter-school cricket tournament defeating St Michael's High School by four wickets at the Patna College ground here on Thursday.

Raju Rai of Concept Academy, who claimed three wickets and scored 24 runs, was declared man of the match.

Brief scores: St Michael's High School: 82 all out in 23.2 overs (Sujit-18, Nitin-13, Jayant-14, Raju Rai-3/20). Concept Academy: 85 for six wickets in 16.3 overs (Raju Rai-24 not out, Kislay-19, Harish-23, Pushkar-3/29)
