Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limted (BSNL), Bihar, on Saturday felicitated Carrom Queen Rashmi Kumari for his record-breaking feats in the recently concluded two international and one national-level tournaments.
Rashmi finished runners up in the women’s singles event of the SAARC carrom tournament in Colombo. But before it, she helped India to win the team championships. At the same venue, she won three titles in the International Carrom Federation Cup including the coveted crown of women’s singles. Later after her return, she captured the All-India BSNL carrom championships women’s singles title.
Rashmi, an employee with the BSNL, Patna, put her medals and trophies on the display during the felicitation function. Chief General Manager BSNL, Bihar SC Mishra felicitated Rashmi on the occasion. BSNL Sports Board secretary Prakash Nath was also present during the function.
