Selection trials cum coaching camp of the Bihar soccer team will be held at Sheikhpura from November 15, according to Bihar Football Association office secretary Jwala Prasad Sinha.
Bihar team will take part in the 45th junior National (U-19) football championship to be held in Bhilai (Chhattishgarh) from November 25.
Disabled cricket title for Muzaffarpur boys
Muzaffarpur claimed the 7th Bihar state disabled cricket championship title defeating Nalanda by 48 runs in the final at the Patna City ground on Sunday.
Kumar Gaurav (Muzaffarpur), who made 24 runs, was declared man of the match.
Nalin Kumar Prabhakar was the chief guest in the prize-distribution function and distributed the prizes. Kumar Dev (Saharsa) got the man of the series award while Kirshna Murari was declared the best batsman of the meet. Kundan Kumar (Muzaffarpur) was adjudged as the best bowler. Kanchan Kumar (Bhojpur) received the best fielder award.
Brief scores: Muzaffarpur: 115 for nine wickets in 16 overs. Nalanda: 67 all out in 11.5 overs.
