Anurag Karketta of Bihar Military Police Range clinched the 100-m gold in the Bihar State Police Games meet at the Mithilesh Stadium, Phulwarisharif on Tuesday. Diwakar Prasad (Patna Range) and Md Haroon (Muzaffarpur Range) got the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Earlier, DGP, DN Gautam declared the meet open in a colourful function marked by a march-past of participating teams.

In football event Darbhanga Range beat Bhagalpur 1-0.
In volleyball, Patna Range beat Bhagalpur 3-0; Military Police, Patna Range beat Muzaffarpur Range 3-0.
In handball, Darbhanga Range beat Bhagalpur Range; Military Police, Patna Range beat Muzaffarpur Range 18-0.
In basketball, Military Police, Patna Range beat Muzaffarpur Range 59-11; Patna Range got walk over against Bhagalpur Range.
In kabaddi, Military Police, Patna Range beat Muzaffarpur Range 73-13.
Pradeep to lead Bihar disabled cricket team
Pradeep Kumar will lead Bihar in the 20th National disabled cricket championship to be held in Andhra Pradesh from December 3, according to a Press release of the Bihar Cricket Association for the disabled.

Sardar Patel athletics from December 12
The 7th Sardar Patel inter-school athletic championship will be held at the Moinul Haq Stadium here from December 12, according to Upendra Kumar Singh, former MLC and president, Sardar Patel Sports and Cultural Foundation.
He said the three-day meet would be organised in five age groups. The last date for entry is December 8. Interested athletes may contact the camp office at the Moinul Haq Stadium for entry and others details.
