Sunit Kumar of the Scholars Abode School claimed the gold medal in the cross-country cycle race here on Sunday. Adil Manzar of the same school grabbed silver medal.
RR Prasad, former DGP and member, Human Rights Commission, Bihar, flagged off the race at the BMP ground. About 70 cyclists participated in the race which covered 6-km distance beginning from BMP ground to Raj Bhawan and back. Dr DK Singh, president, professor RS Sharma, secretary, Bihar Public School and Children Welfare Association, and Dr B Priyam, principal, Scholars Abode were present at the opening function. Raman Awasthi of TI Cycles, India, gave away the prizes.
