Bihar U-16 cricket team to play one-day series in Chhattisgarh

Bihar under-16 cricket team will tour Chhattisgarh to play a series. Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) secretary, Ajay Narayan Sharma said the 15-day tour would begin from May 12.

He said Bihar team would be selected through trials to be held simultaneously at Bhagalpur, Purnia, Gaya and Muzaffarpur on May 2 and 3. Each centre would select 20 players and all 80 players would appear in the final selection trials to be held in Patna on May 9 and 10, he added.

The trials would short list 40 probables for a coaching camp in Patna and final 15-member team would be picked during the camp, Sharma said.
