Adalatganj Cricket Club entered the semi-finals of the second MM Bose memorial cricket tournament defeating Vidyarthi Club by 48 runs at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Friday.
Batting first, Adalatganj made 179 for the loss of eight wickets off 25 overs. Animesh top scored with 46 runs. Gaurav claimed three wickets for 38 runs.
In reply, Vidyarthi Club could manage to score 131 runs for the loss of seven wickets off 25 overs. Utkarsh played a defiant knock of unbeaten 40 runs. Vinay took two wickets for 18 runs.
Animesh of Adalatganj CC was declared man of the match.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gardanibagh Athletic Club (GAC) moved into the final defeating Vinoo Mankad Cricket Club by 102 runs. In another match, Adalatganj Cricket Club beat YCC, Rajendra Nagar by 12 runs.
