Sinha Biswas scripted a facile seven-wicket win over YAC, Rajendra Nagar in a first round match of the MM Bose memorial cricket tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday.
Batting first YAC boys could muster 159 runs for the loss of two wickets off 25 overs. Vishal Gaurav slammed a half-century (58). Sunil (28) and Rahul Raj (22) were the other notable contributors.
Despite having a fight score on the board, YAC could not save the match as Sinha Biswas boys reached the target off 21.3 overs losing three wickets. Roshan played a key role in the victory scoring a half-century (50). Vimalesh (34) and Snehal (18) were the other useful scorers.
Roshan of Sinha-Biswas was declared man of the match.
