AITA talent series: Devpriya sets up title clash with Keshav Kishan

Devpriya Jaiswal of Bihar set up summit showdown with Keshav Kishan of Maharashtra in boys’ under-18 singles final of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Thursday.

Devpriya had an easy outing against Amrendra Singh Chowdhary (Uttar Pradesh) in the first semi-final. Devpriya mauled Amrendra 6-0, 6-1. Kesshav Kishan fought hard to down Adamya Vikrant (Bihar) 7-6, 6-2.

In the boys’ under-16 singles final, Adamya Vikrant (Bihar) will take on Shashank Sharma of Delhi.The girls’ under-18 singles final will see Shruti Jaiswal vying with Madhu Jaiswal (Bihar) for the crown while in the girls’under-16 singles final Ayushi Yadav (UP) will face her state mate Sivana JoyceZaidi.

Devpriya Jaiswal (Bihar) beat Amrendra Singh Chaudhary (UP) 6-0, 6-1, Keshav Kishan (Mah) beat Adamya Vikrant (Bih) 7-6 (0), 6-2.


Semi-finals: Boys U-16 (singles):
Adamya Vikrant (Bih) beat Armaan Banerjee (Kar) 7-6 (1), 6-7 (7), 6-2, Shashank Sharma (Delhi) beat Vaibhav Kumar (Bih) 6-4, 7-5.

Semi-finals: Girls U-18 (Singles)
Shruti Jaiswal (Bih) beat Ayushi Yadav (UP) 6-1, 6-0, Madhu Jaiswal (Bih) beat Ishita Pragya (UP) 6-1,6-2.
Semi-finals:
Girls U-16 (Singles): Ayushi Yadav (UP) beat Madhu Jaiswal (Bihar) 6-0, 6-1, Sivana Joyce Zaidi (UP) bt Ayushi Singh (Bih) 6-3,6-3.
