Vidyarthi Athletic Club beat Kadamkuan Cricket Club by 24 runs in the inaugural match of the second MM Bose memorial cricket tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Tuesday.
Vidyarthi Athletic Club beat Kadamkuan Cricket Club by 24 runs in the inaugural match of the second MM Bose memorial cricket tournament at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Tuesday.
Batting first, Vidyarthi AC scored 170 for two wickets in 25 overs with Utkarsh and Saurav Dey making 33 runs each. In reply, Kadamkuan CC crumbled out for 146 runs in 25 overs. Shashi, Sonu and sachin took two wickets each. Rahul (24) and Sunny (24) were the useful rungetters.
Saurav Dey of Vidyarthi Athletic Club, who scored 33 runs and took one wicket, was declared man of the match. Earlier, Ram Babu Rai, a social worker inaugurated the tournament.
