PDCA Jr league: PAC set up title clash with Engineering College

Patna Athletic Club (PAC) set up title clash with Engineering College in the PDCA junior division league at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium on Thursday. In the first semi-final, PAC registered 44-run victory over Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) while in the second semi-finals, EngineeringCollege defeated Khagaul AC by 16 runs.


Batting first, PAC scored 192 runs off 30 overs. Shahbaz Alam was top scored with 84 runs. His innings contained four mighty sixes and 10 boundaries.

In reply, PMCH could muster 148 runs off 27.5 overs. Mukul was the highest scorer with 53 runs. Anshu was the most successful bowler claiming six wickets for 29 runs.

In the day’s second match, Engineering College collected 192 runs off 30 overs with bulk of the runs coming from the bats of Rajeev (48) and Ritesh (40). Sonu took four wickets for 33 runs.

In reply, Khagaul AC could manage to score 207 runs. Madhav (49) and Dharmendra (31) came good with the bat.
