Don Bosco Academy prevailed over Gyan Niketan by five wickets in the 11th Father Arrupe memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the St Michael’s High School ground here on Monday.
Abhishek of Don Bosco Academy, who claimed four wickets for 22 runs, was declared man of the match.
Batting first, Gyan Niketan made 105 runs for the loss of six wickets off 16 overs. Pratik (30) and Atul (38) were the notable contributors. Abhishek claimed four wickets for 22 runs.
In reply, Don Bosco Academy achieved the target losing five wickets on the way off 12.1 overs. Ankur (23) and Shashank (22) were the main scorers.
