GAC win MM Bose cricket trophy

Gardanibagh Athletic Club won the second MM Bose Memorial Cricket trophy trouncing Adalatganj Cricket Club by 6 wickets at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Sunday.

Batting first, Adalatganj made 183 all out off 30 overs. Avinash (43), Ashutosh (29) and Nitesh (27) were the notable contributors. Kundan Sharma took four wickets for 36 runs while Arvind Jha grabbed three wickets for 30 runs. Keshav captured two wickets for 42 runs.

In reply, GAC boys collected the required runs losing four wickets off 24.1 overs. Raajeev played a magnificent knock of unbeaten 85 runs. Keshav (66) was the other star batsman for GAC. Rupesh took two wickets for 32 runs.

GAC secretary, Rambabu Rai, who was the chief guest at the closing function, distributed the prizes. Ashish Sinha, Jeetendra Kumar Dixit Runi, Pawan Kumar were present on the occasion.

Brief Scores:
Adalatganj: 183 for all out in 30 overs (Avinesh 43, Ashutosh 29, Nitesh 27, Kundan Sharma 4/36, Arvind Jha 3/30, Keshav 2/42).

GAC: 188 for 4 in 24.1 overs (Rajeev 85 not out, Keshav 66, Rupesh 2/32).
