Devpriya Jaiswal of Bihar is just unmatched if you go by the results of Patna tournaments of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series. The Sunday was no different. Devpriya mauled his statemate Adamya Vikrant in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to win the boys’ under-18 singles title.
It was the fourth tournament of this series at the Patliputra Colony courts and Devpriya stamped his authority with great élan and comfort. Adamya, who had won the boys’ under-16 singles title just a day back, failed to stop the Juggernaut of Devpriya.
However, it was not a total bad day for Adamya as parining with Devpriya, he claimed the boys’ under-18 doubles title. The Bihar pair beat Bihar-Rajasthan combination of Ishank Ravi and Arpti Sharma 6-3, 6-2 to win the crown.
