SK Puri Cricket Academy win Rajiv Gandhi Trophy

SK Puri Cricket Academy won the Rajiv Gandhi memorial under-12 cricket championship title defeating Dev Sports Foundation by 44 runs in the final at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Saturday.


Batting first SKP made 121 runs off 20 overs while Dev Sports were all out for 77 runs off 15.2 overs.

Utkarsh Sinha of SK Puri Cricket Academy, who remained unbeaten on 50 runs, was declared man of the match. Ujjawal of Dev Sports Foundation was declared man of the series. Sanjit (SKP Cricket Academy) and Rishabh of Dev Sports Foundation were adjudged best bowler and best batsman respectively.

Dr Jitendra Prasad Singh, who was the chief guest in the prize-distribution function, gave away the prizes. Cricket coaches Ajit Msihra and Rajiv Dhari were among others present at the closing function.
