Patna, June 21, 2009Deepak Sinha beat Manoj Kumar to win the men’s singles title of the New Patna Club tennis championships. In the boys’ under-16 section, Ritwik claimed the crown defeating Adarsh Parakhar in the final.
Ramyak Singh emerged champion in the boys’ under-12 category. In the senior girls event, Adya Sinha regained the ttitle while Amita took the singles honours in the junior girls section.
Later in gala prize-distribution function, senior members of the New Patna Club and old stalwarts of Bihar tennis, Alok Sinha, Rohit Singh and Chandrabhushan gave away the prizes.
