AITA talent series: Six Bihar players cruise into second round of boys' U-18 singles

Six Bihar players moved into the second round of the boys’ under-18 singles event in the All India Tennis Association talent series tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Monday.

Anish Anupam of Bihar defeated Sachin Gopalika of Delhi 6-1, 6-3 while Varenya Vikrant (Bihar) beat Om Prakash 6-2, 6-2.

Boys’ under-18 singles (first round):
Vijyansh Sachdeva (Delhi) beat Marcos Gomes (Delhi) 7-5, 2-6, 6-4; Varenya Vikrant (Bihar) beat Om Prakash (Bihar) 6-2, 6-2; Anish Anupam (Bihar) beat Sachin Gopalika (Delhi) 6-1, 6-3; Abhishek Ranjan (Bihar) beat Ahmad Malik UP) 6-0, 6-2; Aman Kumar (Bihar) beat Soumya Raj (Bihar) 6-2, 6-3; Amritanjay Kumar (UP) beat Anand Mohan Singh (Bihar) 6-3, 6-3; Vishnu Prasad (Bihar) beat Balbir Singh (Bihar) 6-4, 6-0; Salil Rai (Delhi) beat Himanshu Sagar (Delhi) 7-6 (2), 6-0; Shree Krishna (Bihar) beat Sangam Raja (Bihar) 6-2, 6-2; Aditya Vishwakarma (UP) beat Rajat Solanki (Delhi) 6-1, 5-7, 6-3.

Aman Kumar (Bihar) beat Salil Rai (Delhi) 6-3, 5-7, 6-1; Vishnu Prasad (Delhi) beat Salman Sajjad (Bihar) 6-0, 6-0; Varenya Vikrant (Bihar) beat Ankesh Anand (Bihar) 6-2, 6-2; Vijyansh Sachdeva (Delhi) beat Soumya Raj (Bihar) 6-4, 6-1.
