AITA talent series: Devpriya faces Arpit in boys' U-18 singles final

Devpriya Jaiswal of Bihar will take on Arpit Sharma of Rajasthan in the boys’ under-18 singles final of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series tournament at the Patliputra Clonu courts here.

In the semi-finals, top seed Devpriya Jaiswal outplayed Sachin Antony (Kerala) 6-1, 6-0 while Arpit Sharma (Rajasthan) tamed Adamya Vikrant (Bihar) 6-1, 6-3 to set up final clash.

In the boys’ U-16 semi-finals, Ishank Ravi of Bihar got the better of Venkat Siddarth 6-3, 6-2 and Adamya Vikarant (Bihar) struggled hard to down Himanshu Saagar (Delhi) 7-6 (2), 6-4.

Aman Kumar (Bihar) and Marcos Gomes (Delhi) beat Varenya Vikrant (Bihar) and Anish Anupam (Bihar) 6-0, 6-3.
Vijyansh Sachdeva (Delhi) and Himamshu Sagar (Delhi) beat Shree Krishna (Bihar) and Vishu Prasad (Delhi) 6-2, 6-3.
Girls’ U-18 quarter-finals (singles)
Shruti Jaiswl (Bihar) beat Vijeta Sachdeva (Delhi) 6-4, 6-3.
Girls’ U-18 semi-final (singles)
Shruti Jaiswal beat Disha Satish Agarwal (Delhi) 6-2, 6-0.
