AITA talent series: Venkat, Adamya among five Bihar players to qualify for boys U-18 Q-F

Five players Venkat Siddarth, Aman Kumar, Adamya Vikrant, Ishank Ravi and Devpriya Jaiswal occupied the quarter-final berths out of eight at stake in the boys’ under-18 singles of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) talent series tournament at the Patliputra Colony courts here on Tuesday.

Fresh from his boys’ U-18 singles title victory in the fourth tournament of this series a few days back, Devpriya Jaiswal fought hard to tame Vijansh Sachdeva of Delhi 7-6, 2-6, 6-4 in the pre-quarter-finals. Adamya Vikrant, who won the U-16 title, too sweated it out to down Aditya Kumar Vishwakarma of Uttar Pradesh 6-2, 7-5.
