Virasat House emerge PCS champs

Patna, January 29, 2011: Two-Day Patna Central School sports meet concluded with much fan fare at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Friday. Virasat House clinched the overall championships title with 55 points. Sanskriti House got the runners-up spot with 54 points while Sanskar House finished third with 52 points.

In the individual boys’ sections, Prince Kumar (group D), Durgesh Kumar (group E) and Navneet Kumar (group F) emerged champions Shristi Swaraj (group D), Karishma Priyam (group E) and Busra (group F) took the honours in girls’ group.

Bihar Planning and Development Minister Narendra Narayan Yadav gave away the prizes. MLA Gyanendra Kumar Gyanu and Acharya Sudarshan Jee Maharaj were the special guests in the closing ceremony.
