Gautam Sen and Debashish Barua declared joint winners in AG chess

Patna, January 23, 2011: Eastern Railway employees Gautam Sen and Debashish Barua, won the East Zone inter-audit chess championships title emerging joint leaders with four points each after the end of final round play at AG Office hall here on Sunday.

The final day scorecard showed both Kolkata men Sen and Barua gathering equal progressive points.

Pankaj Kumar of AG Bihar got the second position in the individual event.

Eastern Railway, Kolkata claimed the team title with 8 points while AG Bihar “B” finished second with 6 points.

P Dinaraj, principal AG (Audit), Bihar, gave away the prizes.
