Patna, January 23, 2011: Cricket Academy of Patna (CAP) tamed Litera Valley School by 85 runs in the first match of the Little Champs Premier League U-10 cricket tournament at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Sunday.
DAV School, Board Colony edged past Don Bosco Academy by two wickets in the second match of the day.
CAP scored 130 runs for the loss of one wicket off 15 overs and then bowled their rivals out for meager 45 runs.
Brief scores: CAP 130 for 1 off 15 overs (Prajit 23, Prabhakar 20, Sachin 18, Aarij 1 for 27), Litera Valley School: 45 all out off 14 overs (Pushkar 7, Akshat 6, Shripal 1 for 3, Basu 6 for 3, Prabhakar 2 for 21).
Don Bosco Academy: 79 for 7 off 15 overs (Raj Gaurav 17, Rajiv 8, Saurav 41, Anan 3 for 20). DAV School: 80 for 8 off 15 overs (Dharmendra 24, Rishikesh 11, Vikas 2 for 11).
