Janata Dal (United) Sports Cell organised one-day kabaddi tournament to celebrate the birth anniversary of Jananayak Karpoori Thakur at the outer ground of the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna on January 24, 2011. Bihar "A" emerged champions in the both men and women sections defeating Bihar "B". JD(U) state president Vashishtha Narayan Singh was the chief guest and he gave away the prizes.
