Smooth sailing for Cambridge Public School

Cambridge Public School had an easy 30-run win over Delhi Model Public School in the 24th Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the DAV Public School, BSEB Colony ground here on Thursday.

Amit Kumar of Cambridge Public School, who claimed six wickets for 30 runs off six overs, was declared man of the match.

Put into bat Cambridge boys scored 149 all out off 29 overs. Bishwajeet Anand’s swashbuckling 39 (7x4) was the hightlight of Cambridge innings.

In reply, needing 150 runs for victory in 30 overs, Delhi Model lads crumbled at 119 runs off 22 overs. Sundries top scored with 52. Amit was the wrecker-in-chief for Cambridge School claiming six wickets for 30 runs.

RK Public School beat Lucent School
RK Public School, Patna City notched up 16-run victory over Lucent Senior Secondary School in the Super 30 Challenge Cup inter-school cricket tournament at the Patna College ground here on Thursday.

Balram of RKP School, who scored 45 (7x4) runs and took three wickets, was adjudged man of the match.

In the second match, Residential Bal Niketan, Bihta got the better of Ramanand High School, Saran by seven wickets. Anish of Bihta, who claimed four wickets for three runs, was declared man of the match.
