Munger struggled to down Tatanagar 2-1 in the second match of the Bernard Shield football tournament at the Jagjiwan Stadium Danapur, on Wednesday.
Tatanagar shot into the lead through Sadam Marandi in the 44th minute of the first half. At the breather, Tatanagar were leading 1-0.
Munger played as a more cohesive unit in the second half. Mahtab Alam brought the equalizer in the 53rd minute and Amit Kumar netted the match winner in the 60th minute. Tatanagar tried hard to make the score even in the dying moments but of no avail.
