Bihar U-19 boys begin title hunt in style

Patna, December 12, 2009:
Bihar started their title hunt in style beating Nagaland by 3 wickets in the opening match of BCC Associate and Affiliate members under-19 cricket tournament at Bhillai on Saturday.

According to information reached here, batting first Nagaland scored 221 runs for the loss of nine wickets off 50 overs. Vikas top scored with 66 runs while Lotha made 28 runs. Kamalesh Singh captured three wickets for 37 runs and Satish Roy took two wickets for 30 runs.

In reply, Bihar achieved the target losing seven wickets off 42.5 overs. Rajesh Singh and Aditya made fluent half centuries. Rajesh made 62 runs while Aditya scored 59 runs. Ravishankar (31) and Mangal (38) were other notable run scorers for Bihar.
