Ashwani Public School and Bharti High School in Sukhdeo cricket semifinals

Patna, November 30, 2009: Ashwani Public School and Bharti High School cruised into the semi-finals of the 25th All India Sukhdeo Narain memorial inter-school cricket tournament at the Moinul Haq Stadium here on Monday.

Ashwani Public School beat Siddhartha Higher Secondary School by seven wickets and Bharti High School destroyed Sahu Jain High School by nine wickets. Kumar Raj (Ashwani Public School) and Vikas Vagri (Bharti High School) were adjudged man of the match for their respective matches.

Brief scores: Siddhartha Higher Secondary School: 70 all out in 19.1 overs (ManishPatel-19, S Habib-11, Kumar Raj-3/10, Himanshu Hari-2/17, Prashant Kumar-2/4).
Ashwani Public School: 74 for three wickets in 13.4 overs (Raj Kishan- 24, S Fahad-14, S Habib-2/14).
Sahu Jain High School: 77 all out in 19.5 overs (Sandeep-17, Md Saleem-13, Amar-11, Vikas Vagri-4/12, Subrato-3/17, Sachin-2/11).

Bharti High School: 78 for one (Vikas Vagri-39 not out, Ankit Narang-23, Sanjay Kumar-1/6).
