Patna, December 5, 2009: Bihar entered the final of BCCI Associates and Affiliates under-16 tournament decimating Sikkim by a huge margin of 225 runs at Silchar (Assam) on Saturday.
According to information reached here, this was Bihar third successive win in the tournament. Elected to bat first after winning the toss, Bihar boys piled up 278 runs for the loss of six wickets off 50 overs. In reply sikkim were all out for 53 runs off 27 overs.
For Bihar, Shiv made a blazing 90 with 10 hits to the fence. Siddhant scored 87 runs with 15 boundaries. Kumar Vijay hit a half-century (50) with seven hits to the fence. Deepak took three wickets for Sikkim.
In reply, Nishant destroyed the Sikkim batting taking five wickets for 14 runs. Faisal Gani claimed three wickets for 10 runs.

Bihar -278 for the loss of six wickets (Siddhant -87, Shiv -90, Kumar Vijay -50, Deepak took 3 wickets, Ravi, Saurabh and Rohit got one wicket each).
Sikkim -53 all out (Jhanudin 12, Nishant 5 wickets for 14 runs, Faisal Gani 3 for 10, Vivek 1 for 16, Rashid 1 for 13).
